A silver cross pattée with red and white enamels, with the gilded silver laurel wreath between the arms, the obverse with a central white enamelled medallion inscribed VERDIENST, the reverse in white enamels, integral ring marked VM for Vinc Mayer as well as Viennese silver mark for 900 silver 1872-1922, measuring 30.86 mm (w) x 31.21 mm (h), weighing 13.9 grams, on loop for suspension from period original triangular ribbon, with re-enameled obverse centre, fair.
