(Frontflugspange für Aufklärer in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed tombak, the obverse consisting of a laurel wreath joined at the bottom by a swastika, with a central leftward-facing eagle’s head, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75.96 mm (w) x 25.59 mm (h), weighing 20.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
