In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the conjoined left-facing busts of Duke Frederick Augustus of Nassau and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia, inscribed "FRIEDRICH AUGUST HERZOG z.NASSAU" at the left and "KAISER WILHELM II." at the right, inscribed "14MÄRZ 1809-1909" and flanked by the coat-of-arms of both states below, reverse illustrating a monument bearing the inscription "LA BELLE ALLIANCE", the monument surmounted by a lion with its front right paw resting upon a cannonball, a wreath and a branch of oak leaves at its base, surrounded by the inscription "ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DAS 100 JÄHRIGE REGT. JUBILÄUM DES I. NASS. JNF. REGTS. No87.", measuring 38.5 mm in diameter, discolouration evident on the obverse and edge, scattered gilt wear, spotting, original ribbon, mounted to a four-sided brass suspension with pinback, very fine.
