Germany, Wehrmacht. A Blue Division Medal

(Erinnerungsmedaille für die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with bronze clasp and horizontal pinback, the obverse with shields bearing NSDAP and Falange emblems on top of a sword, topped by a Stahlhelm and above a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “DIVISIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA” (“DIVISION OF SPANISH VOLUNTEERS IN RUSSIA”), unmarked, measuring 32.43 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
