Иностранные и русские ордена до 1917 года (Foreign and Russian Orders Until 1917), by Ivan Georgievich Spassky, published in Leningrad in 1963 by the Publishing House of the State Hermitage, hardcover in orange material, the obverse centre presents the title ордена in black, as well as along the spine in black, includes the dust-jacket, containing 195 pages, including coloured and black-and-white illustrations, the inside front page includes a dedication written in blue ink stating TO DOC, IN APPRECIATION FOR MANY COURTESIES, JIM, NEW YORK JUNE, 1963, measuring 21 cm (w) x 26.5 cm (h), the dust-jacket is fraying around the edges but the book itself is in overall extremely fine condition.

He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
