Germany, Imperial. An EK II Württemberg Medal Bar

(Ordensschnalle). A First War period medal bar with four decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914” the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 42.77 mm (w) x 48.06 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition;

A Württemberg Military Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Wilhelm II circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE” (“FOR BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”), unmarked, measuring 28.21 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition;

An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates “1914-1918” inside of a laurel wreath, with crossed swords through the centerpiece, unmarked, measuring 37.52 mm (w) x 41.89 mm (h), in extremely fine condition;

A Württemberg 9-Year Long Service Medal, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central royal crown inside of a laurel wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”) and a number “9” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 31.50 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition;

All set on a 105 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and dark blue wool reverse liner.
