Baden, Grand Duchy. A Badischer Heimatdank Medal

(Medaille). A round magnetic medal, the obverse presents a soldier’s head wearing a steel helmet, surrounded by the inscription WIR GABEN DAS LEBEN / SORGT FUER UNSERE LIEBEN (WE GAVE LIFE. CARE FOR OUR LOVED ONES), the reverse centre presents the inscription BADISCHER HEIMATDANK, also marked with 19 P.P. PFEIFFER 17, measuring 41.22 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition.
