Germany, Weimar. A Hohenzollern Bene Merenti Medal, Bronze Grade

(Bene Merenti Medaille in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Prince Friedrich of Hohenzollern circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “BENE MERENTI” inside of an oak leaf wreath, topped by a Hohenzollern crown, unmarked, measuring 30.25 mm (w) x 49.35 mm (h), weighing 24.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
