Poland, Republic. A Italian-Manufactured Army Beret Eagle c,1945

Manufactured in Italy in 1945, in silvered and gray rolled bullion wire, in various textures, touches of red and black embroidery representing the eagle's tongue and eye respectively, on a brownish-green felt base, black cotton mesh backer, measuring 35 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), paper and glue residue evident on the reverse from previous board mounting, scattered greening on the gray bullion, better than very fine.
