An Eastern Front Medal, a round medal constructed of zink with a gun-metal coating, the concave obverse features a NSDAP-style eagle grasping a swastika with a laurel behind it, the reverse features the text WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42 (WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42) featuring a crossed sword and branch below the text, a helmet and stick grenade connects the medal and loop, measuring 35.97 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A German West Wall Medal, constructed of bronze, in an oval shape, the obverse featuring a bunker, a crossed sword and shovel, and the German national eagle, circumscribed by a wreath of oak leaves, the reverse bears the inscription FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS (FOR WORK ON THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY), measuring 33.17 mm (w) x 45.99 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
