Germany, Reichsnährstand. A Cased Farmer’s 30-Year Merit Medal

(Reichsnährstand Dienstauszeichnung für 20 Jahre). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse with a RNST insignia circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSNÄHRSTAND” and “FÜR TREUE GEFOLGSCHAFT” (“FOR LOYAL FOLLOWING”), the reverse with an inscription of “LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT RHEINLAND FÜR 30 JAHRE PFLICHTREUE” (“RHINELAND REGIONAL FARM COUNCIL, FOR 30 YEARS OF LOYAL DUTY”), unmarked, measuring 34.18 mm in diameter, missing its reverse pinback, with a hole stamped through the top, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux red leather exterio, the interior with an off-white satin lid liner and a slotted brown velvet medal bed, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 65 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), in very fine condition.
