Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Grand Duchy. A Friedrich Franz III Medal

(Gedenkmedaille für den Großherzog Friedrich Franz III). Instituted on 21 April 1897. In silver, the obverse with a rightward facing portrait of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III, circumscribed with his name, the reverse with the royal crown and the coat of arms, circumscribed above with 19.3.1851, 15.4. 1883, and 10.4.1897, and circumscribed below Per Aspera Ad Astra (Through difficulties to the stars), measuring 30.05 mm in diameter, weighing 11.1 grams, on a loop for suspension, and in better than very fine condition.
