Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Cap Cockade

(Kriegsmarine Kokarde). Constructed of a black wool backer, the obverse bearing a gold bullion oak leaf wreath with acorns, with a central silvered zink cockade and red felt centerpiece, unmarked, measuring 74 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
