(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a cardboard-reinforced red cotton backer, unmarked, measuring 39.91 mm (w) x 44.11 mm (h), weighing 10.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
