Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback and aluminum clasp, the obverse with a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“LOYAL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse with a number “4” inside of an oak leaf wreath, measuring 29.99 mm in diameter, weighing 15.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
