Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a round oak leaf wreath, with a central Tirol-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika superimposed on a target, above a banner reading “MEISTER SCHÜTZE 1942), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 62 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
