A studio photo of an Imperial Russian Hussar, with the subject standing in uniform clutching a hat and sword, with a hanger bearing the monogram of Tsar Alexander II, above a photographer’s mark of “И. ГРИНБЕРГЬ” (“I. GREENBERG”), the reverse with a handwritten date of “21 JULY 1875”, affixed to a card stock backer, measuring 106 mm (w) x 166 mm (h), some material fatigue evident, in better than very fine condition.
