A presentation case for a I Class Grand Cross Set of the Order of the North Star, constructed of a wood frame with a faux red leather exterior, the obverse lid with a floral gilt border, the reverse with a black sticker with a white inscription of “STK. N. O.”, the interior with a padded off-white satin-type lid liner bearing a maker’s mark of “C.F. CARLMAN AB, STOCKHOLM” and an intact hinge cover, with a retractable depressed red doeskin medal bed, opening with a functional bronze snap button and dual functional magnetic metal hinges, measuring 140 mm (w) x 230 mm (l) x 52 mm (h), minor material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.
