Serbia, Kingdom. An Order St. Sava, II Class Case, by Huguenin Frères & Co.

A presentation case for a II Class Set of the Order of St. Sava, constructed of a wood frame with a faux blue leather exterior, the obverse lid with an etched Serbian Cyrillic inscription of “СВ. САВА II.” (“ST. SAVA II”), the interior with a padded white satin-type lid liner with a maker’s mark of “БРАЋА ХУГУНИН И КОМП., ЛЕ ЛОКЛЕ (ШВАЈЦАРСКА)” and “HUGUENIN FRÈRES & CO., MEDAILLEURS, LE LOCLE (SUISSE)” and an intact hinge cover, with a retractable depressed and slotted black doeskin medal bed, opening with a functional bronze snap button with exterior stud release and functional magnetic metal hinges, measuring 113 mm (w) x 246 mm (l) x 42 mm (h), some material fatigue evident, otherwise in very fine condition.
