A group of three Wehrmacht medals, including a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.07 mm (w) x 48.64 mm (h), weighing 21.4 grams, in extremely fine condition; a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised War Merit Cross, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.53 mm in diameter, weighing 14.1 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”, unmarked, measuring 35.84 mm (w) x 44.17 mm (h), weighing 18.2 grams, in better than very fine condition.
