Germany, NSDAP. A 1942 Luxembourg NSDAP Regional Day Badge by Ziemer & Söhne

(NSDAP Kreistag Luxemburg Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a raised depiction of the Adolphe Bridge, topped by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and circumscribed by an inscription of “ERSTER KREISTAG LUXEMBURG 1942”, the reverse with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) code of “M9/162” for maker Ziemer & Söhne, Oberstein-an-der-Nahe, measuring 28 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
