Prussia, Kingdom. A Denmark War Medal of 1864

(Kriegs Denkmünze 1864). A circular bronze medal, the obverse centre presenting two crowned monograms, W for Wilhelm below the Prussian royal crown, FJ for Franz Joseph below the Austrian imperial crown, the reverse centre presenting the inscription UNSERN TAPFERN KRIEGERN 1864, surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath, measuring 29.80 mm in diameter, weighing 11.7 grams, on loop for suspension from period original replacement ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
