Constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse with a central black enameled NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse plain, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to a gilt band with a period original length of shortened neck ribbon, unmarked, measuring 52.60 mm (w) x 57.60 mm (h), weighing 40.2 grams, some chipping and flecking of enamels evident, in near extremely fine condition.
