Reuss, County. A Silver Merit Medal of the Princely Honour Cross with Swords

(Silberne Verdienstmedaille mit Schwertern zum Fürstlich Reußischen Ehrenkreuz). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with crossed swords clasp, the obverse with a central monogram of Heinrich, Prince Reuss of Greiz, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”) inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, the medal measuring 32.73 mm in diameter, the clasp measuring 36.18 mm (w) x 12.70 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
