Ordin "Steaua Romaniei". Instituted in 1877. Type II (1932-1947). In silver with red, green and blue enamels, cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 65.8 mm (w) x 104.8 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, chipping evident in the blue enamels on the centrepiece ring on the reverse, on a 1932-1938 original full-length neck ribbon with hook and eye, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Star of Romania is Romania's highest civil Order and second highest State decoration after the defunct Order of Michael the Brave. It was originally awarded in six grades: Grand Cross with Collar, Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
