Bavaria, Kingdom. A Prince Regent Luitpold Medal, Silver Grade

(Prinzregent Luitpold Medaille). Instituted on 30 June 1905. An oval silver medal, the obverse centre presenting the left-facing portrait of Luitpold, surrounded by the inscription LVITPOLD PRINZ REGENT VON BAYERN, the reverse centre presents the Bavarian coat of arms with the year 1905, below the inscription IN TREUE FEST, measuring 32.14 mm (w) x 38.54 mm (h), on period original incorrect ribbon, and in very fine condition.
