Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Norwegian Volunteer Legion Armband

(Freiwilligen-Legion Norwegen Armband). This is an extremely well-preserved Second War period armband worn by a member of the Norwegian Legion of the Waffen-SS, constructed of multi-coloured cotton twill. The obverse of the armband presents in the Norwegian red, white, and blue tricolour, while the reverse is a plain white. The armband is held together at each end by a tight row of white threaded machine stitching. The armband is unmarked and measures 430 mm in length when flat, 220 mm in length when folded, with a width of 120 mm. In an unissued condition, the armband presents free of evident faults and is in a near mint condition.
