Constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a rightward-facing profile of Karl Günther of Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT” (“FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR”), unmarked, measuring 31.60 mm in diameter, weighing 11.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
