Württemberg, Kingdom. A Honour Cross, II Class, for 21 Years of Service

(Dienst-Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse für 21 Jahre). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central monogram of Wilhelm II of Württemberg, inside of a green enameled laurel wreath, the reverse with central crossed swords circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 34.03 mm (w) x 38.01 mm (h), weighing 13.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
