In browning copper, measuring 58.8 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), both lugs intact, cleaned, greening and residue evident on the reverse, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Montreal, Quebec under the authority of G.O. 86, July 1, 1915. The headquarters on mobilization was also Montreal. The Battalion sailed June 10, 1915 with a strength of 45 officers and 978 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G.S. Cantlie. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 7th Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
