Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Duke Adolph, the reverse with an inscription of “ADOLPH HERZOG ZU NASSAU”, within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, marked with a silver content number of “950”, measuring 29.94 mm in diameter, weighing 11.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
