Baden, Grand Duchy. A Merit Cross of the Baden Women’s League for 10 Years of Service to Anna Rueff

(Dienstauszeichnung für Schwestern des Badischen Frauenvereins für 10 Dienstjahre). Instituted 1872 by Grand Duchess Luise. (1872-1937 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original chain, consisting of a Ruppert Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with a central raised number “10” in Roman numerals, the reverse with an etched recipient’s name of “ANNA RUEFF”, with a silver content number of “800”, otherwise unmarked, measuring 41.37 mm (w) x 48.59 mm (h), weighing 13.2 grams, missing its clasp, in otherwise near extremely fine condition.
