In browning copper, maker marked "R.J. INGLIS LIMITED" on the reverse, measuring 41.2 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), both lugs intact, light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 29, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel D. McLean with a strength of 36 officers and 1,025 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 17th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
