Germany, Imperial. A 1908 Köln Cattle Breeding Honour Badge

(Köln Ehrenabzeichen). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a double-headed eagle, overlaid by the coat of arms of the city of Köln, topped by an inscription of “EHRENGABE DER STADT CÖLN” (“TESTIMONIAL OF THE CITY OF KÖLN”), the reverse with an inscription of “SCHLACHT- & MASTVIEHAUSTELLUNG CÖLN 1908”, unmarked, measuring 39 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
