(Königlicher Kronen-Orden Miniatur). Instituted 18 October 1861 by King Wilhelm I. (1861-1918 issue). Constructed of bronze gilt with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central gilt medallion bearing a Hohenzollern crown, within a ring of blue enamel bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) with arabesques, the reverse with an analogous medallion bearing a monogram of King Wilhelm I, within a ring of blue enamel bearing a gilt institution date of “DEN 18 OCTOBER 1861”, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring, unmarked, measuring 18.95 mm (w) x 22.19 mm (h), weighing 2.4 grams, in better than very fine condition.
