Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Civil Awards

(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A pair of Third Reich period civil awards, including an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, sun rays emanating between the arms of a Latin Cross from the centre applique, central medallion depicting a black enameled swastika ringed by a raised inscription of DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER (The German Mother), on loop with period original ribbon, reverse inscribed with institution date of 16 Dezember 1938 and facsimile of the Führer and Reichskanzler, unmarked, measuring 35.97 mm (w) x 46.17 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition. A 25-Year Civil Faithful Service Medal, constructed of silvered bronze with black enamel, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, presenting as a cross pattée joined at the arms with an oak leaf wreath, obverse with central black swastika, reverse with central inscription of Für treue Dienste (For Faithful Service), unmarked, measuring 40.82 mm (w) x 40.87 mm (h), on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, in near extremely fine condition.
