An Imperial German Army commemorative ladle, featuring a spouted scoop, the obverse handle bearing a finely-detailed oak wreath with ribbing, the reverse with an etched inscription of “LEUTNANT RS. VOM HOFE DEM OFFIZIERKORPS DES REGIMENTS 9 IN DANKBARER ERINNERUNG 1. XII. 1903”, stamped with a silver content number of “800” and a crescent crown and moon indicating German manufacture, along with the hallmark of maker Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen, measuring 112 mm (w) x 340 mm (l), weighing 203 grams, minor age-appropriate tarnishing evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
