(Deutscher Kriegerbund Erinnerungskreuz). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a trapezoidal bronze backplate and horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central German State Crown, the armed bearing an inscription of “DEUTSCHER KRIEGERBUND WASHINGTON D.C., GEGR. 8 SEPT 1910” (“GERMAN WARRIOR ASSOCIATION WASHINGTON D.C., FOUNDED 8 SEPTEMBER 1910”), the reverse maker marked “C. HARNOLD, COBURG”, measuring 35.29 mm (w) x 40.43 mm (h), weighing 12.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
