Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Shamrock Cross, the obverse with a central combined monogram of King Wilhelm II and Queen Charlotte, the reverse with a central institution date of “1916”, unmarked, measuring 40.40 mm (w) x 45.01 mm (h), weighing 13.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
