(Dienstauszeichnung für Offiziere). Instituted 18 June 1825 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1840-1860 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed arms, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, the reverse with a number “25” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 36.22 mm (w) x 40.57 mm (h), weighing 11.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
