Germany, Wehrmacht. A Narvik Shield, 1957 Version

(Narvikschild). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a propeller, anchor, and edelweiss, flanked by a date of “1940”, topped by an inscription of “NARVIK”, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 37.88 mm (w) x 65.15 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
