Constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver convex frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback stamped with a silver content number of “800”, measuring 42.12 mm (w) x 41.95 mm (h), weighing 16.6 grams, in extremely fine condition, accompanied by its award certificate, dated 14 March 1918, named to Assistenzarzt Dr. Löwenberg, Reserve-Jäger-Regiment 15, awarded for exceptional bravery in caring for the wounded while on frontline service, signed by Generaloberarzt Salzmann and issued in Düsseldorf, measuring 207 mm (w) x 165 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
