(Der Stahlhelm Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a central Stahlhelm on top of a ribbed ring, the bottom with an oak leaf wreath, the top bearing an inscription of “FRONT HEIL”, the reverse with swivel magnetic metal attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), most of its original grey paint has been lost, in overall very fine condition.
