(Bayerische Medaillen). A lot of three Bavarian decorations, including a Military Merit Cross, III Class with Swords, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, within a stylized belt with an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT), the reverse with a central Bavarian lion rampant, within a stylized belt with an institution date of “1866” and arabesques, the obverse twelve o’clock arm with a crossed sword clasp, unmarked, measuring 42.83 mm (w) x 50.25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Bavarian State Red Cross Association Medal for Merit in Wartime, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 27.30 mm (w) x 37.90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Landwehr II Class Long Service Clasp, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, affixed to a bronze backplate with horizontal pinback and an original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
