Bavaria, Kingdom. A 62nd Infantry Regiment 50th Anniversary Cross for Parliamentarians, c.1918

(Jubiläumskreuz für das K.u.K. Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 62). Instituted April 1918 by King Ludwig III. (1918 issue). Constructed of silvered iron, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central leftward-facing profile of King Ludwig III, the reverse with central dates “1868-1918” on a Bavarian flag, unmarked, measuring 39.84 mm (w) x 45.72 mm (h), weighing 19.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
