Multi-piece construction, in fire gilt bronze with blue enamels, illustrating a globe surrounded a garter bearing the inscription "PER MARE PER TERRAM" within an open-ended wreath of laurel leaves, with a ribbon banner above inscribed "GIBRALTAR" and surmounted by a St. Edward's crown, measuring 69 mm (w) x 88.3 mm (h), both lugs and enamels intact, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine.
