Germany, Imperial. A Prussian State Railway 25-Year Long Service Badge by Johann Wagner & Sohn

(Erinnerungszeichen der preußischen Staatseisenbahn 25 Jahre). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a central winged spoked wheel topped by a royal crown, above a laurel wreath joined by a ribbon, overlaid by a plaque with a raised number of “25”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “JOH. WAGNER & SOHN, BERLIN W.” with a silver content number of “900” and crescent moon and crown indicating German manufacture, measuring 53.47 mm (w) x 43.13 mm (h), weighing 10.2 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a 1936 Occupation of the Rhineland propaganda badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
