France, Third Republic: four awards: two Orders of the Legion of Honour (one in silver with red, white, blue, green and black enamels, gilt centrepieces, measuring 15 mm (w) x 24.5 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon; the other in silver with red, white, blue and green enamels, measuring 16 mm (w) x 23.5 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in the white enamels on the reverse of the arm at 12 o'clock); Colonial Medal, 1 Clasp - MAROC (in silver, measuring 12.8 mm in diameter inclusive of its wreath suspension, dark patina, original ribbon); Croix de Guerre (War Cross) 1939-1945 (in bronze, measuring 14 mm (w) x 18 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon): and Morocco, Kingdom: two Orders of Ouissam Alaouite, Type II (1934-1954) (in silver gilt with red and white enamels, measuring 14.7 mm (w) x 25.7 mm (h) each inclusive of their wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspensions, one with intact enamels, the other with chipping evident in the white enamels on the reverse of the star point at 2 o'clock, original ribbons). Adhesive residue evident on the reverse of five ribbons from previous board mounting, ranging from near very fine to extremely fine.
