Bavaria, Kingdom. A Fire Brigade Honour Clasp for 25 Years of Service by Eduard Quellhorst

(Ehrenzeichen für Mitglieder der Feuerwehren nach 25 jähriger Dienstzeit). Instituted 24 June 1884 by King Ludwig II. (1884-1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a bronze backplate with a period original length of ribbon, the reverse with a barrel hinge and round wire catch, maker marked “QUELLHORST”, measuring 45 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), missing its pinback, in overall near very fine condition.
