Germany, Imperial. A Warrior Merit Medal, Exhibition Example

(Krieger Verdienstmedaille Museumsstück). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a leftward-facing profile of Kaiser Wilhelm II in Imperial regalia, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse with an inscription of “KRIEGER VERDIENST” (“WARRIOR MERIT”), within a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 39.55 mm in diameter, weighing 30.3 grams, in better than very fine condition.
